Description

For 4.5 years, I Co-published and designed a glossy, quarterly national magazine about Retro Culture (30,000 circulation) called ATOMIC. With a creative staff of one, I acted as Art Director, Writer, Art Buyer, Editor, Print Production Manager, and overall Creative Manager. I personally arranged and covered all photo shoots, art buying, as well as full design and production from start to finish on all layouts throughout the magazine, arranged the printing and covered all press checks, and designed an e-commerce website along with all marketing materials. We only hired out for retouching. We were in the Society of Publication Designers award annual every year of its existence and I received a Lucie Award for Art Director of the Year because of it.
