Creative Director New York City

Creative Director/Art Director/Copywriter/Content Creator and video Producer/Director. Create 360 degrees of Advertising/Marketing.

Freelance Creative Director, Art Director, Copywriter, Designer, Producer, Director, Content Provider, Coca Cola drinker, etc.

Born, raised and schooled in Wisconsin.

Have worked staff or freelance at advertising agencies, design firms and publishing companies all over the country including Hawaii.

Instrumental in winning hundreds of millions of dollars in new business at the agencies I’ve worked for.
(Including global, domestic, b-to-b, pharma and all different-sized businesses)

Designed/wrote a campaign which received over $15 million in free publicity including 5.5 minutes on the Today Show. (Yes, 5.5 minutes) No, it was not a PR placement.

Designed/wrote a print ad which received over $5 million in publicity including mention on The View and CNN and celebrity blogs all over the world.

Co-published/designed a national magazine called ATOMIC that had 30,000 circulation and survived for 4.5 years while working full-time in advertising.

Co-founded an advertising agency in NYC called Jugular from 2006-2009.

Produced/Co-Directed/Wrote/Designed an entire multimedia campaign to help Save the Gettysburg battlefield from a proposed casino 1/2 mile from the Military Park. On top of that, I personally lined-up all the celebrities and production people to VOLUNTEER their time to create 7 long-form videos, radio commercials and TV commercials. Worked with five-time Academy-Award winner John Williams to provide the musical score on all pieces.

Thankfully, the Gettysburg casino proposal was defeated. As a result, I received the Shelby Foote Preservation Legacy Award from the Civil War Trust for my efforts in helping to save Gettysburg.

One of the videos was selected as part of a nationally-recognized history education plan and is catalogued in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.

Since then, I have worked closely with the Civil War Trust to help them preserve America's battlefields for future generations.

Here's some press I received from the Society of Publication Designers for the redesign of the Trust's quarterly magazine, Hallowed Ground, which I continue to design for the Trust:

For the past 5.5 years, I was Creative Director of Advertising/Integrated Marketing at Men's Health magazine creating video, print and digital content for the brand and its Fortune 100 advertisers.

I continue to create breakthrough, thought-provoking and oftentimes fun, poignant and entertaining and effective content for my freelance clients.
