As you look through my portfolio, you may notice that my experience covers a wide range of media and a robust list of major and upstart brands, clients and genres.

Over the course of my 20+ year career, I have worked staff or freelance at numerous advertising agencies, branding companies and publishing houses all over the country from New York City to Hawaii to Atlanta to Chicago to Winston-Salem, NC to San Francisco to West Chester, PA to Minneapolis.

I’ve been instrumental in winning hundreds of millions of dollars in new business at the agencies and companies where I’ve worked. In addition, I’ve created branded content, ad campaigns and designs that have received tens of millions of dollars worth of free PR on national news programs and talk shows. Kinda fun when your work is discussed on “The View” for 7.5 minutes. Or your campaign is reviewed on CNN for 5 minutes. Or your digital units so impress YouTube that they run it free for another month because it’s obliterating their expectations.

I’ve taken my turn owning companies, too.
For 4.5 years, I Co-Published/Designed a national magazine called ATOMIC with a 30,000 circulation while working full-time in advertising. Interviewed and featured legendary celebrities from Hollywood, the music industry, historical personalities and received a slew of awards.

I also co-founded/managed an advertising agency in midtown New York City called Jugular for three years that focused on social media.

For six years, I was Creative Director of Advertising & Integrated Marketing at Men’s Health magazine in Manhattan creating branded videos, print, digital, social media content and major events for the MH, Women’s Health, Rodale Publishing and its Fortune 100 advertisers.

In my spare time, I Produced/Co-Directed/Wrote/Designed an extensive multimedia campaign to help Save the Gettysburg battlefield from a proposed casino 1/2 mile from the Military Park by a local millionaire and $5.2 Billion gaming company. For the formal presentation to the PA Gaming Control Board, I personally recruited Hollywood and historical celebrities, a Medal of Honor recipient and full production crew to VOLUNTEER their time to create seven long-form videos, radio and TV commercials. I enlisted five-time Academy-Award winner (52-time nominee) John Williams to provide the musical score on all pieces...all within three months.

Thankfully, the Gettysburg casino proposal was defeated and the work was nationally-recognized and catalogued in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.

As a result of that success, I began an incredible relationship with the American Battlefield Trust in Washington, DC, helping them preserve all of America’s battlefields for future generations. Since 2011, I’ve designed a slew of collateral material for them including the Trust’s quarterly membership magazine, Hallowed Ground and received numerous awards from the Society of Publication Designers, APEX, and MMPA. Most recently, we created a multimedia campaign with Medal of Honor recipients called BROTHERS IN VALOR – bringing living heroes to Civil War battlefields to tell the stories of their MOH forebears. (An extensive online MOH database was also developed) An upcoming video will focus on the descendants of a freed slave from Virginia who joined the Union and received the Medal of Honor for his bravery during the Civil War.

Currently I’m helping to plan America’s 250th Birthday festivities in 2025-2026. I’ve also been working with the rebranding of the Woody Williams Foundation, co-founded by the sole-surviving Medal of Honor recipient from WWII, that focuses on honoring Gold Star Families around the country.

Every day I strive to create breakthrough, thought-provoking and oftentimes fun, poignant, sophisticated, entertaining and highly effective content and design for my freelance clients all over the country no matter the size or the media.

• Outstanding Young Alumni and Distinguished Alumni Award Winner - University of Wisconsin Oshkosh

• Created a Journalism scholarship at my alma mater when I was 25, which still continues today.

• Helped instruct acrobatic aerials for swing dancers for eight years. Not kidding.

• Auditioned for the original Star Search TV show four times while in college as a stand-up comedian. (A dude named Drew Carey won that year.)
