Capitol Lighting is a now run by the third and fourth generations of the founder. When I took over the advertising for the client, they were running hand illustrated ads with tons of coupons and copy points. Complete rebranding campaign for Capitol Lighting, a retail lighting chain in NJ and FL. We took all of our best mag/newspaper headlines and used their delivery trucks as moving billboards.

Delivery/Maintenance truck in Florida. On the top of the van it says “Prices are lower down here.”

This ad ran two days after Hurricane Katrina hit the US. Due to Capitol’s incredible relationship with the newspapers, we got them to toss in the red ink for free.
